Meet a new steemian
My name is umeh ogecbukwu goodness.... am a nigerian from abia state.. a 300 level accounting student of micheal okpara universty umudike.. in abia state... and am 20years old. 
My hobbies are cooking... whenever i cook its gives me an unexplained kind of joy... i love reading romantic novels as well.... and hanging out with my girls.. dont get me wrong am not a lesbian ... but am a very shy type and i feel relaxed wen i go out with my girls....believe i like everything good and dislike everything bad 
So i guess thats all to tell about my self... been hearing about steemit from my friends.. and i am like hey girl what are you waiting for get ur sorry ass up and join steemit ... i know i would love these family ... i hope too get to meet wonderful friends as well.. love ya all... thanks steemit

Glad you got the motivation to get yourself on Steemit. It might take a bit of effort and diligence, but even a shy person such as yourself (an an introvert such as myself :-) can do quite well on this platform.
Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
1 – Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 – Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 – Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 – Be yourself.
5 – Be interesting and informative.
6 – Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 – Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.
