Why Did You Join Steemit?

Ive been on Steemit for about a week now and I have to say I am really impressed! The community is kind and helpful, I've learned alot from what material I've read, and even earned a little! I mainly joined because I want to expand my knowledge of crypto currency and to support Steemit. What is your reason?
