This fan art collage revolving around Inuyasha x Ayame, which is my twenty-third submission for this year's InuAya month, is dedicated to all the wonderful InuAya shippers of the world. Please sit back, relax, and embark on another trip down memory lane with my tenure specializing in Inuyasha x Ayame fan art, as I have done for the past six years on DeviantArt.

I may have been drawing Inuyasha x Ayame fan art on DeviantArt for six years. However, I started becoming an Inuyasha x Ayame or InuAya devotee when I was a young teenager of fourteen years old. My constant viewing of Inuyasha growing up beginning from my pre-teen years until my current adult life made me affirm that both Inuyasha and Ayame deserved better. Every time I watched Episodes 73, 83, and 84, I always believed that Inuyasha and Ayame would have had a great shot at being with each other as childhood sweethearts. This is especially true when I concocted the AU headcanon scenario of Inuyasha saving Ayame from the Birds of Paradise, being raised and trained by Ayame's grandfather and the warriors of the Northern Yoro Tribe, being betrothed and eventually married to Ayame while they were still very young, ruling the Northern Yoro Tribe, and starting a strong, healthy family. I even decided to make Inuyasha a full-fledged dog yokai warrior king while maintaining his signature ears, thus making him stand on his own as a yokai warrior and be a great candidate for Ayame's conjugal love.

The fact that it did not take me until I was approaching 26 back in 2018 to start drawing InuAya fan art was a question of finding the confidence to pursue my artistic passion for this couple. Granted, I have been reading fanfiction revolving around Inuyasha and Ayame as a couple. However, fan-related works revolving around this couple are few and far between, remain on the internet for a temporary amount of time, or are forgotten at worst. Nevertheless, throughout the many times I have stumbled upon Inuyasha x Ayame-related fan works, I was captured at the thought of having Inuyasha and Ayame be a mighty power couple strong enough to knock down any opponent. By the time I decided to have a go at being on DeviantArt, I always made sure that Inuyasha x Ayame remained at the forefront of not only my main content here but also the requests, art trades, and point commissions that were open during my tenure here. My tenure as a loyal Inuyasha x Ayame partisan never wavered, and I consistently found inspiration by keeping my mind open to the possibilities I presented for Inuyasha and Ayame.

The direction I have always had for Inuyasha and Ayame is that Inuyasha is the muscularly musclebound Alpha Male warrior king and Ayame is the fiercely fiery Alpha Female warrior queen. I have always been fascinated by super-strong and magnificently mighty power couples. You are looking at a gentleman who grew up with Superman x Wonder Woman from Justice League, both Kazuya Mishima and Paul Phoenix x Nina Williams from Tekken, and both Ryu x Chun-Li and Ken x Cammy from Street Fighter for sheer physical might. I even grew up with Eric Myers and Taylor Earhardt from Power Rangers and Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist for sheer determination. Inuyasha and Ayame would encapsulate that great balance of formidability, exceptional combat prowess, fierce loyalty, courage, and unconditional love as a power couple. Inuyasha would be the rock in Ayame's, their children's, their tribespeople's, and Ayame's grandfather's lives. Ayame would be strong and determined to stand on her own as a real warrior and never be a doormat. Synergy truly exists between Inuyasha and Ayame.

My Splendid Seven AU headcanon was what truly ignited Inuyasha and Ayame to shine further as a power couple, especially in martial arts tournaments. I have always believed that Inuyasha and Ayame would suit the martial arts tournament scenario, given my experiences growing up with installments such as Street Fighter, Tekken, YuYu Hakusho, and Dragonball. Because I made Inuyasha gain a whole lot of magnificent muscle using his super-strength to his advantage and Ayame take great advantage of her fists, feet, knees, elbows, and shins in combat, I found a way to make Inuyasha's and Ayame's synergy shine. Inuyasha's magnificently mighty muscles make him a champion wrestler, bodybuilder, and weightlifter in Ancient Greek Wrestling, Pankration, Ssireum, Lutte Traditionelle, Vale Tudo, and Combat Sambo and Ayame's limbering limbs make her a prizefighter Nak Muay Ying Farang, boxer, and kickboxer in Muay Thai, Kyuk Too Ki, Muay Lerdrit, Muay Lao, Pradal Serey, Dutch Kickboxing, and Japanese Kickboxing. Their power couple dynamics in martial arts tournaments would make them win.

As Inuyasha and Ayame became thoroughly established in the martial arts tournament world and their tenure as Northern Yoro Tribe rulers, I accepted the challenge of creating their children. Given that Inuyasha and Ayame are from the Feudal Era, there is a reason why I made them marry at such a young age. This is because children as young as 10 and 14 were betrothed, married, and became parents at such a young age in those days. In today's developed society, this would be taboo. However, back then, it was rather normal in certain communities. At least Inuyasha's and Ayame's romantic relationship was consensual and was enthusiastic to start a family with Inuyasha. Thus, Inuyasha and Ayame became parents to seven super-strong and magnificently muscular sons in Masataka, Masaya, Masaru, Kenta, Keita, Kazuhiko, and Kaito and seven dedicatedly determined and fiercely fiery daughters in Kiriko, Momoko, Makoto, Mikoto, Maya, Minako, and Meika. Inuyasha's and Ayame's progeny would also inherit their parents' incredible combat prowess to make this family an exceptional strong one.

Just because I had enjoyed specializing in InuAya fan-related works did not mean it was super-smooth sailing. I have been greeted by a horde of canon Nazis, self-loathing feminist wannabes, Alpha Male wannabes, and self-loathing man-children who blabber about InuAya never being a thing. Their reasoning is that Inuyasha and Ayame barely knew each other in the anime and that Ayame is an anime-only character. I understand that, and I am not as stupid as these self-loathing losers make me out to be. I also understand that there are canon pairings for Inuyasha and Ayame. However, I have a functioning brain to proclaim that I do not agree with them. I even refuse to name the names of Inuyasha's and Ayame's canon pairings on here because I not only despise them but do not want anything to do with them in my page. I want to fully dedicate this submission solely for InuAya. Therefore, I may have made more enemies than friends when it comes to my preference of having Inuyasha and Ayame as a power couple, but I have also made good friends who understand where I am coming from and support what I do.

Amidst all the ups and downs, I am blissfully grateful to remain a most loyal InuAya partisan, let alone a shipper. I have always loved this power couple since I was a young teenager, and InuAya still holds up to this day in my adult years. Inuyasha's magnificent muscles, super-strength, and virility as a wrestler, bodybuilder, and weightlifter specializing in Ancient Greek Wrestling, Pankration, Ssireum, Kapu Kuialua, and Lutte Traditionelle mesh beautifully with Ayame's furious fists, feet, shins, knees, and elbows as a Nak Muay Ying Farang specializing in Muay Thai, Kyuk Too Ki, Muay Lao, Pradal Serey, and Muay Lerdrit. Their power couple dynamics not only strengthen them as powerful combatants but also as leaders, parents, and grandparents. I have always believed that Inuyasha and Ayame are a power couple that needs way more love and attention because there is a lot of potential for them to shine as a power couple. Therefore, I challenge all of you artists, fanfic writers, and content creators to create more Inuyasha x Ayame works. You will never regret it, and you will find something enjoyable about them.

I hope you all enjoyed this, and I want to thank you for supporting me in the six years I have been creating InuAya fan-related works. Take care, stay safe, and please continue to show your affection for Inuyasha and Ayame as a power couple, everybody.
