Invest in solar - an win/win approach

in #invest7 years ago (edited)

So many good things are happening around the world! One example is the Sweden based company Trine that finances solar power projects with crowdfunding. The projects are usually small scale and aimed att people that have no grid access.

When a project is funded the customer in the project (can be households or businesses) can buy a kit with for example solar panel, battery, lamps, a radio and a phone charger. The customer then pay the kit in small payments during a period of time. After that time the customer have full ownership over the kit. Trine has already funded a number of projects. Most of them located in countries like Kenya and Tanzania. The progress of the projects can be followed on Trines webpage.

The investers get their money back (with interest) as the customers in the projects make their payments. As with all investments there is a risk of losing your money. But for those wanting a sustainable future that might be a risk more comfortable than the risks of climate change...

I hope TRINE will accept Steem in a near future ;)

Hi! The company uses a solution where the investers use an e-wallet from Lemonway. And the customers of the solar panels also uses e-wallets.
