I SPENT MY BITCOIN ON PIZZA! But more on that later... My experience in the cryptoverse since 2013

I am no expert in this field. Just getting that out of the way at the beginning. I am however someone who loves the crypto currency market and the potential it brings for revolutionary new financial systems. I invested in bitcoin when it was $80 per 1 BTC. I have held mine for a long time.

I have just begun to look into creative ways of accruing more Bitcoin and build my portfolio of various altcoins I believe have potential. What I have discovered as staggered me. There are so many business, programs and unique ways to generate crypto in the digital economy it's mind boggling.

My brother and I saw the potential of the alt coin market while some were still scoffing at the idea of anything other than Bitcoin succeeding. I remember getting a random Facebook call from a man in Sweden who told me he was about to give me the tip of a life time.

"You should buy as much Ethereum as you possibly can right now while the price is low!"

I remembered what he said, I believe the price was around $11 dollars at the time. I didn't have any money to invest and I really didn't want to lose any more of my BTC. I spent BITCOIN ON A PIZZA! THE CLASSIC CRYPTO WORLD BLUNDER!!

My brother decided he would spend half a Bitcoin on Ethereum. He even did an elaborate rune stone reading to determine what would happen to ETH's price in the future. With his half a BTC he was able to secure 32 ETH which is now worth a great deal more and rising.

We are not experts! We've never had a lot of money to invest! But the small amount we've been able to put in has grown tremendously in value.

I remember walking away from Bitcoin for a while after the big bitcoin crash. I had a feeling it would bounce back and decided to just wait and forget about. My initial Bitcoin investment has grown by 3,000% and is still climbing.

I am a novice and I encourage everyone to just keep learning and moving forward cause this industry is offering investment opportunity like no other.

Now that I'm back into researching the current trends in the cryptoverse I'm stunned by some of the possibilities I've found. Many of the promises seem to good to be true, but 3,000% increase on your investments in a couple years time sounds too good to be true as well. The rules have changed.

I will write more on my story of surviving on nothing but Bitcoin for a week while I was living out in Colorado. I did in fact spend a portion of my bitcoin on pizza
