IOST Airdrop closes earlier and it's now banning high earners!!! SUSPICIOUS?

Surprisingly enough, IOST team closed it's Airdrop program earlier than it's planned date few hours back at 10 am, 28 July. Not only that they also already have permanently banned their top 15 earners. They're all accused for ''playing unfair''. But it that really true or IOST team just don't really Like to pay referral commissions? See the below screenshot of their sign up page where they encouraged users to NOT use the referral code. How mean is that? How could one believe a team with such mentality?

Now if that mean unfair team accuses someone for unfairness would that be quite reliable? Well, they said they will announce their process of catching frauds. Now their process might be solid, but how will we know that the accused people really committed those crimes as they made their mouth shut already buy banning them? Last but not least, they're giving 20 IOST for joining but kept the minimum withdrawal to 1000 IOST so that you get locked in, as most of the people are not skilled enough to refer people. You people judge.
