The Frankfurt European Banking Congress, the premiere invite-only congress on banking and finance in Europe has invited Dominik Scheimer Co-Founder and head of IOTA Berlin to speak at this years Congress on November 16, 2018. The EBC which has been held every year since 1991 features some of the heavyweights of the baking and finance sector both past and present with notable speakers such as Alan Greenspan who has been invited and spoken twice at the event.

Some notable speakers in this years roster include.

Tobias Adrian – International Monetary Fund, Washington DC

Francine Lacque – Bloomberg TV, London

Lord Adrian Turner – The Institute for New Economic Thinking, London.
Invited institutions include, Deutsche Bank, CommerzBank, and The European Central Bank.

The EBC aims to bring major players together on an annual basis to openly discuss how to positively shape the financial future of Europe.

The IOTA Foundation will be speaking during Session II: “ Technology in Finance: Ever Broader,Ever Deeper?”. Iota is a blockchain technology company which seeks to improve on sending money frictionlessly between individuals and institutions.

This is clearly a great opportunity for the IOTA to leave a lasting impression amongst some of the most powerful banks in Europe which will shape the progress and implementation of technology through the EU in the coming years.
