Koufonisia is actually a complex of two islands: Pano Koufonissi which is inhabited and has tourist facilities, and Kato Koufonissi which is totally uninhabited and visited only for a beach trip from Pano Koufonissi. Located between Naxos and Amorgos, Koufonisia island is an ideal place to relax. Perfect for walking and cycling, there are many fantastic beaches to visit and many of them are actually nudist places. Most activities in Koufonisia Greece are concentrated in Chora, where most tourist accommodation, taverns and shops are found.
