The laws of physics apply the same everywhere in the universe. If there was life after death, that would be a violation of the laws of known physics. The evidence for such metaphysical beliefs is severely lacking. Therefore, one may safely conclude that the likelihood of there being life after death is vanishingly small.

One may not be able to perfectly remove the possibility of life after death, but one certainly may claim that such possibility is so remote as to be asymptotically approaching zero.
