Dronie: Drone Selfie

Cambiare il punto di vista rende le cose più interessanti. Questo vale per ogni ambito nella vita di tutti i giorni e vale anche per la fotografia. Anzi, la ricerca di un punto di vista non comune la ritengo una tra le caratteristiche più importanti che un fotografo deve coltivare.

L'esempio più eclatante di un cattivo uso del punto di vista è il selfie. I social ne sono ormai intasati e il punto di vista è sempre lo stesso: braccio disteso, altezza volto e click. Che noia! È una prospettiva ormai nota a tutti e per questo molto poco interessante.

Ma proviamo a cambiare punto di vista.
Con l'avvento dei droni sta prendendo piede la tecnica del Dronie: selfie con il drone. Prospettiva nuova, nuovi stimoli cognitivi per chi osserva. Non risulta molto più interessante?

Riporto qualche esempio.

Change the point of view makes things more interesting. That is truth for the everyday life as well as for the photography. Actually, I believe finding new points of view is one of the most important features who a photographer must grow up.

Selfie is the most striking example of a bad use of the point of view. Social are now full of them and the point of view is always the same: extended arm, face height and click. How boring! It's a known to all view and very uninteresting.

But let's try to change the point of view.
With the coming of Drones, Dronie technique is catching on: selfie with a Drone. New viewpoint, new motivation for the observer. Isn't it more interesting?

Let's look at some example.

Rispetto al braccio (o al bastone selfie) sicuramente con un drone si hanno a disposizione molti più punti di vista differenti (in distanza, in altezza e in angolazione). Una nuova prospettiva di un soggetto noto attira l'attenzione dell'osservatore che viene catturato e stimolato ad elaborare questa nuova situazione.

Ovviamente non bisogna abusarne, altrimenti si ritorna al punto di partenza.

Compared to the arm (or to the selfie stick) with a Drone we have many and many different points of view (distance, height and angle speaking). A new view of a known subject catches the observer attention which is motivated to explore the new situation.

Obviously we must not abuse it, otherwise we go back to the starting point.
