Have you ever been to Osaka, Japan? If not, you should definitely go! (Video Included)

What is the first city you think of when you hear Japan? Probably Tokyo. Am I right? Can't blame you. It's my first thought as well. All you ever hear is Tokyo this and Tokyo that but Osaka is by far a much better city, in my opinion. When compared to Tokyo, Osaka is much more lax and open. Also, Kyoto and Kobe (Kobe beef mmmmmmm) are pretty damn near. Osaka is the third most populated city in Japan, Tokyo being number one. That alone makes it a better place to visit in my experience because holy fuck is Tokyo crowded, especially the subways.

The people in Osaka are much more friendly and open to talk to you or even just say "Hi" as you walk by versus Tokyo, they just keep to themselves for the most part and don't seem as foreigner friendly. I feel more of a cultural vibe in Osaka, especially in districts like Nanba where amazing Japanese food is aplenty, bars and restaurants offer much to enjoy and there are tons of small alleyways with hidden gems to explore. From the food to shopping, to wonderful scenery like Osaka Castle and Tennoji park, Osaka has plenty to offer. Check out this hyper-lapse video I created showing off the many wonders of Osaka, Japan! Hope you enjoy!
