I'm a big fan of these tatami mat posts! The format is creative and inviting (at least, for someone analytical like me!) This particular compilation of notes: vibrant, hilarious, and enlightening. Also, thanks for the synchronicity reminding me that I've still yet to read any Haruki Murakami, though I've been impelled to do so by several friends :-D
Wow, Thanks for the compliment. I'm thrilled that you like these note and find them interesting and enlightening.
Read Murakami. Just pick one of the novels I've listed, maybe a shorter one. He might hook you and keep you captive for life.
These notes get quite interesting by the day. And like @d-pend rightly pointed out, the format is fascinatingly interesting. For me, the ethnographic details are thrilling and quite educative. I see the notes as a peep into the Japanese culture. Thanks for the great work.
Always my pleasure to post this info, and I'm always thrilled when readers enjoy these posts.
"Looking for a place to stick in" is just marvelous!!! :D
When I post #50 with additional commentary, you'll see how I wanted to change that phrase.
I made it a little bit more "marvelous." :-)
