This is a fascinating concept!

This rule of five being put into execution like this sounds exciting and the dishes actually look delicious. Usually not much of a tofu fan, but even that sounds great.

What exactly is the meaning of "Umami"?

Oh it's amazing you gotta try!! Umami is the japanese word for the 5th taste, savoury. Generally when they say umami, it means a stock/broth kind of flavour. Not just salty.

Aaah, I understand. I think we have a couple words for that in German as well.
