I went to a Japanese festival. ちょっと変わった盆踊りのお話。
Yesterday I went to a fireworks display, but I could hardly see it when I was in heavy rain.
I was planning to upload it to steemit but I could not take pictures ...
So I will upload the picture of the “Omatsuri”（summer festival）I took in the past.
“Omatsuri” means a ritual for worshipping gods or Buddha, or an event held in gratitude towards nature. At the festivals, you can see lots of people wearing Japanese traditional clothes called “Yukata.”
昨日は花火大会に行ったのですが、雨に降られて散々でした。
steemitにアップしようと思っていたのに写真も取れず…なので、以前撮ったお祭りの写真をアップします。
I also participated in wearing a yukata. I love yukata. I think that it is a wonderful traditional costume with various colors and patterns.
By the way,this is a super cheap yukata I bought for about 3000 yen. (*´﹀`*)
地元密着型のお祭りのせいか浴衣を着ている人が多いです
浴衣は着るのも見るのも大好き。色も柄も人それぞれで見ているだけで楽しいです。
ちなみにこれは3000円くらいで買った激安浴衣 (*´﹀`*)
洋服より安い安いです（笑）
At the Japanese festival, there are rows of stalls called “Demise.”
At the festival, you can buy your favorite food from a food stall, then enjoy it while walking around.
This is a stall of " Okonomiyaki".
"Okonomiyaki" is basically a Japanese pizza. You cook it on a cast-iron pan. There's no cheese; but mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce is used instead.

People waiting for the start of "Bon Odori".
"Bon Odori" is the festival folk dance held in the evenings during the Bon season.The dancers form circles around the center tower made in wood temporarily and dance to the Bon festival songs played with Japanese traditional drums.

The "Bon Odori" in this area is slightly different, and somehow suddenly rises.
The monk cried and screamed and run around and it was like a live state.

The participants were running around the turret rather than dancing. Ordinary "Bon Odori" is also good, but this is fun with this!
参加者たちも、踊るというより櫓のまわりを走り回ってました。
普通の盆踊りも良いけれど、これはこれで楽しい。
