McCoy Tyner's first solo album for the prestigious Blue Note record label after leaving the extraordinary Jhon Coltrane quartet; although he had already recorded for the Impulse label as a leader and for Blue Note as a sideman, on albums such as Open Sesame by Freddie Hubbard, NIght Dreamer and Juju by Wayne Shorter. The work is structured in five long-lasting pieces full of the best jazz ... =)
