Jazz with funk and pop elements offers us today Bill Evans, who made his debut in the band of Miles Davis at the age of 22 and from then on he was able to combine the electronic possibilities of pop and funk with his great playing technique with the greats of his time. The two most well-known bands in which he set his accents were Elements and the Mahavishnu Orchestra. I invite you to explore his work in chronological order:

Here's Bill sitting in with the Allman Brothers

Nice shortcut from 2010, thanks!

How incredible, that combination of music. It makes you stay like out of orbit. Because they are sounds that you do not expect. Maybe you wait to hear them separated but together wowww. It is something shocking, it becomes auditory incomprehensible. But after a few minutes you start to like it. I would have liked to hear them several times, and I have to go to the hospital. Very good friend Thanks for this post.

As a jazz musican myself I try to find the ones that will drive you to the unexpected ....
Thanks!

A very good introduction to get to know a jazz musician! This is an acquired taste! I like blue jazz, softer and slower and sad!
