Animoca Brands buys major stake in Aussie digital services agency

NFT investment giant Animoka Brand has acquired a large stake in Australian digital marketing firm B Media.

Be Media has locations in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney and has provided advertising and digital strategies to Web2 firms since 2013. Although the company is not ready for the crypto sector, investing in Web3 seems to be part of Animoca's immediate goal.

According to an announcement shared with Cointelegraph, Be Media will be tasked with seeking partnerships with various Australian blockchain-centric initiatives such as NFTs and the launch of an open metavers with leading Australian brands.
