And I regret powering down as it will get increasingly hard to get to my goal amount of Steem as the time passes and more users join us. The daily distributed amount of Steem will stay the same no matter if there's 10 users competing for it or 1 million users.
What does powering down mean?
Why do you regret it? I am not following...perhaps I dont fully understand what powering down means.

No problem, it can be overwhelming at first.
Well I jumped in and did it. The fact that it is locked in for 3 months is not a problem. I moved all steem to SP.
I will presume it is going to pay dividends to me over time. I will be buying more I believe in the near future anyway.
