Decided to not waste my 6pm on a beautiful Friday listening to the same statements. If they WANTED de-escalation, they would have done so at this point.
At this point, it seems like the most reasonable action might be talking to the exchanges to say something to the effect of:
"You guys got misled by a known power abuser (who will almost certainly fuck both of us the next chance he gets). You can make it right by, voting our community witnesses back in to let us reestablish our governance, and we promise to take no further action against you and forgive your mistake, but we WILL NOT expedite your power-downs -- that's on you."
