Time to fight high blood pressure, anemia and iron deficiency. Strengthen your body and remove excess water from the body today.

RECIPES FOR HOME JUICES

  1. 2 beetroots + 2 apples + 1/2 lemon or lime + 1 teaspoon of linseed oil

  2. 3 carrots + 1 grapefruit + a pinch of turmeric + 1 sweet pear

  3. a handful of kale / spinach or 3 tablespoons Lio Shake Foods by Ann + 1 apple + 1 lemon + 1 tablespoon of coconut sugar + alkaline water

  4. 2 beetroots + 100 ml pomegranate juice + 5 mg acerola (foods by Ann)

  5. 1 bunch of parsley + 1 kiwi + lemon juice + coconut water + a pinch of turmeric (especially in the third trimester due to the supply of iron)

Remember that parsley is rich in iron, chlorophyll and vitamin C, it also removes water from the body and lowers blood pressure. It is best to consume it in the second and third trimester. The active ingredients of the parsley (root) act diuretic, which is especially important in the case of women with tendencies to swelling.

Warning! Despite the health promoting effect of pregnant women, moderation in the parsley is recommended – it can affect the blood coagulation system in the fetus.

And now my proposition for homemade isotonics for athletes!

Isotonic drinks should be consumed during sports activities lasting more than an hour. Do not reach for them if you want to lose weight, because the body will take energy from them, instead of burning up the supplies you want to get rid of. If your activity lasts up to an hour, it is enough to supplement the liquids with water or diluted juices. If your training lasts longer, then you need isotonic beverages to add energy, fill up fluids and not to overheat. Drink them always slightly chilled and with small sips.

Dear athlete, I have prepared for you a few recipes for isotonic drinks, which you can prepare yourself. I bet on natural homemade potions that I have always suggested to my athletes.

  1. 200 ml of concentrated fruit juice (eg pomegranate, orange, pineapple), 800 ml of water, a teaspoon of himalayan / sea salt

    1. 4 flat tablespoons of honey (or maple syrup), 900 ml of water, juice from 1 lemon / lime, a teaspoon of Himalayan salt / sea salt, a pinch of cayenne pepper
    1. Half a liter of apple juice, lemon juice, 2 flat tablespoons of honey, 400 ml of mint / nettle infusion, half a measure of magnesium, a teaspoon of Himalayan salt / sea salt
    1. 2 tablespoons of honey, 1.5 liters of medium mineralized water, a teaspoon of Himalayan salt / sea salt, ginger (size of the thumb, grated)

And after physical activity it is time to regenerate. It should never be treated as a superfluous supplement, because it is an integral part of the training. Beginner athletes move enthusiastically to the gym every day and do not want to hear about one day break. In the meantime, it is necessary that the muscles regenerate and they are ready for the next training. intensive exercises can bring the opposite effect to the desired one. Never forget about a rest, a healthy diet and the right dose of sleep that keeps you healthy and fit. You will need products that will help you rebuild energy resources.

Remember about turmeric, which accelerates muscle regeneration and reduces their pain, improves metabolism and is perfect not only for the treatment of joint diseases, but also for anti-cancer treatments. Turmeric is also a strong antioxidant. A valuable component of an athlete’s diet are also beetroots that lower blood pressure, contain antioxidants and improve the heart’s function thanks to the folic acid content. I also add a grenade to isotonic drinks. This fruit has many pro-health properties. It contains antioxidants that inhibit the aging process and omega-5 acids that reduce edema. In addition, the pomegranate is supporting anti-cancer treatment, lowers blood pressure, has anti-inflammatory effects, protects the heart and adds energy and vitality. I enrich the taste of isotonics with a dates. It is a wealth of simple sugars, also a source of additional energy. In addition, they supplement the deficiency of glycogen and potassium in the body.

SHAKE AFTER TRAINING (EXCHANGE)

  1. shake I:

1 teaspoon of grated ginger (fresh)
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
1/4 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper / black
coconut water / non-carbonated mineral water
a pinch of Himalayan salt
Forest fruits
100 ml of pomegranate juice 100%

  1. shake II

3 boiled beetroots
150 ml of coconut milk
½ teaspoon of turmeric
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
1 date
