wow, It looks like a story by Allan Poe. How much suspense with few words. Your narrative captivated me from the beginning. I think your end is open (that's not my style) and offers each reader the creation of their own ending. I believe that the knight of the hill is himself, is his reflection, is what he wants to be. Thank you for reading and your kind words. Often when I finish reading a book, I like to think of where the next phase of it would have went, so I do have a tendency to not finish a lot of stories, plus I can always come back to them.
