Weekend at Lake Naivasha, Kenya
Lake Naivasha is a crazy place! Our tent camp is right on the lake shore, behind it is a big lawn/park leading up to a restaurant - but none of this is fenced in and it is out in the wilderness so wildlife roams about everywhere ...
On the lawn an extended family of monkeys have made their home in a big bamboo, gazelles are crazing round our tent, a flock of zebras and antilopes have intermingled to graze the lawn, 2 baby giraffes are seemingly playing in the mud by the lake ... and not least, a stone throw away two hippos are having an argument :D
Having a stroll round this area is like being in a zoo - except, the animals are all here by choice :)
