My Valentine

Valentine's day holds no value to me whatsoever. I don't know what's the meaning of it, really. I mean, you've got the whole year to celebrate love and affection, right?
Right.
Even if you have someone, even if you don't. Doesn't make any difference in terms of that particular day. We eat a lot of chocolate and eat in restaurants regardless of what day is it - and we pretty much succeeded in turning our flat into a jungle, so no need to buy cut flowers.

On this particular Valentine's day however, we ended up on top of a mountain in Burma, and decided to stay up there for the night. Little did we know at the time of these pictures, that this decision would result in a memorable Valentine's night.
So memorable, that I still remember feeling it would never end. And it wasn't because we had such great time, but because we had no warm clothes, no blankets and not even a tent. We learnt that the hard way, but regardless of the daily temperature of 40 °C , if you're above 3000 meters, it does get cold. So cold in fact, that I couldn't sleep a minute I was so afraid that we were gonna freeze to death if the fire goes out.
But it didn't, and the last piece of wood was put on the fire as the sun rose up - so it's all good. We even got a Valentine's that we'll never forget.
