Kebra Nagast Reveals the Kingdom of Queen Saba In Abyssinia, Ethiopia

in #kingdom7 years ago

History still has no certainty as to whether the Queen of Saba (Queen of Sheba) who visited the pure-blooded Suleiman Abyssinia or the Arab queen of Yemen, or Hadramaut or some other mention of the Arabian Peninsula. But in tradition it is mentioned that the Queen of South visited Sulaiman long enough. As Sidney Smith discloses, the Texan Corpus tablet text or Babylonian inscription tells how some of India's great late queens have visited one such region as Ethana, or Mesannipadda, or Sargon Agade, which is instructed in the wisdom and civilization of its day.

A book entitled 'Kebra Nagast' tells the origins of Ethiopia, this book is lifted from the famous text 'Glory of the Kings' in honor of the Abyssinians. In a letter mentioned that King John of Ethiopia wrote to the late Lord Granville in August, 1872:

There is a book called 'Kivera Negust' containing the Laws of Ethiopia, and the names of Shums (Head), Church, and Province, written in this book. I pray you know who owns this book, and send it to me, for my country, my people will not obey my orders without it.

The summary of the contents of Kebra Nagast was first published by Bruce in 1813, but contains only a few overviews. This book is highly respected for containing evidence that their descendants were from the Hebrew ancestors, and the kingship of the king from the line of Solomon.

#Descendants of Queen Saba In Kebra Nagast

The story of Queen's visit came out dynasty sounded around the caravan people, and the scribes put it into their history. It is quite possible that the story of Solomon and Queen of Sheba (Queen of Saba) is based on one much more ancient source. Things like this have actually happened since the history of Gilgamesh led by the King of the Uruk Dynasty, the history of Ethiopian exploitation. Similarly Alexander the Great, the Macedonian King who sought the water of life, how he walked through impenetrable forests and arrived at the dead sea, and how he tried to fly into the sky, all that is described in the Epic of Gilgamesh.

How far do the Abyssinians justify a kinship claim with Semit? There is little doubt about the indigenous Abyssinians coming from negroes or negroids in the valley of the Nile. In the early period, tribes and nations living on the western side of the Arabian peninsula made their way across the sea from Asia to South Africa in some places, such as Bab-AL-Mandab and the northern part of the Sinai peninsula. In this way the influence of Asian societies enters Abyssinia. Then part of Hamit, a language similar to Libya, Berber, and Egypt, the language that Abyssinia brought to communicate with Kushite, which is now known to Ethiopia.

Semit is a term originally used in linguistics and ethnology to refer to a family or family of origin from the Middle East, now called the Semitic Rumpun. These clumps include the forms of ancient and modern languages, namely Ahlamu, Akkadian (Assyria-Babylon), Amharic, Amori, Arabic, Aramaic / Syrian, Canaan / Phoenician / Carthage, Chaldean, Ebla, Edom, Ge'ez, Hebrew , Malta, Mosaic, Moab, Sutean, Tigre and Tigrinya, as well as Ugarit, and so on.

But Bible translators misidentify 'Ethiopia', Abyssinia with Kush is the Hebrew vocabulary to call a country known to Nubia. Because the intermingling of Semit and Hamit occurs when the Semitic element enters the Hamitic language very early. The northern part of Abyssinia, the mountainous part of Semit's main settlement known as the Agaw, and of them may have been descended Falashas or Jewish Abyssinia.

In the 11th or 10th century BC, Abyssinia was once invaded by the Semitic Asiatic and they taught the Abyssinian people the element of civilization. The main tribe of the invaders is called Abasha, and they come from western Yemen in southern Arabia. They call it the Abesh region as a place of residence in Africa, from which the origin of the Abyssinian name.

Semitic immigration from Asia continued for centuries, introducing Arabic writings, trades, arts and handicrafts. Two or three centuries before Christ they succeeded in forming a kingdom, its capital called Aksum. Semitic peoples who settled in the upper, middle, and Lower Abyssinia became merchants, and they became the initiators of commerce in the region. The Semitic peoples that settled around Aksum were known as Ag Aziyan, which means 'free' and their language is called Ge'ez or often called Ethiopia, then from this region appears the modern language of Tigray called Tigrina. Semitic Language in the Middle and Lower Abyssinia known as Amarina or Amhar, where in this period Abyssinia has no literature.

The fall of the Semitic kingdom in the Aksum of his reign was replaced by kafir kings, among them Aphilas, Endybis, and Alalmidis (Ella Amida), the father of Ezana who reigned in the first half of the 4th century AD Ezana is called Constantine Abyssinia, in history known as the greatest king in Abyssinia and adopted Christianity as a national religion. Following Christianity, then Abyssinian literature emerged and began to flourish.

The original form of the legend of the Queen of Saba probably emerged after the great invasion of the Semites into Abyssinia in the 10th century BC. This history is seen in Matthew XII 42, Luke XI 31, interpreted that Solomon was the father of the child of Queen Saba, in other words that Queen Saba once married Solomon. This evidence is also seen in the tradition that the male offspring of the child was the legitimate king of Abyssinia, and Solomon was the ancestor of Jesus.

This belief was adopted by the kings of the Semit Aksum kingdom, at which time the city of Aksum was regarded as a duplicate of Jerusalem called Zion Abyssinia. When the Abyssinians adopted Christianity in the second half of the fifth century AD, they decided as far as possible their relationship with their ancestors from Arabia. They claimed his kinship with Hebrews from Jerusalem had left the mahram and the other gods of Minaean and Saba, supporting Yahweh the Hebrew god. When Semitic Christians have Scripture which is translated into Ge'ez. Translators use scripts based on old writings from Minaean and Sabaean, their contents are some very important special distinctions.

Like the old inscriptions and Hebrew, Syriac, Arabic, how to read the writing from right to left, but Abyssinia decided to read their text from left to right as did the Babylonians and Assyrians. This decision is likely due to Greek influence, the ancient Arabic alphabet texts are fully consonant and vowels are expressed through semi-vowel letters. Some of them are good enough to express Ge'ez vocals by modifying the form of some consonants themselves, so Abyssinia alters the old Sabaean alphabet into syllables.

Bible translators who translated into Ge'ez rejected Habesh (the old name of Abyssinia), and their version named the Ethiopian region (iteyopeya) with the capital of Aksum. A eunuch has great authority under Candace the queen of Ethiopia, and the country where the Queen reigns is Kush (Old Testament), named Ethiopia (also inscribed in Psalm lxviii 32, lxxxvii 4). Actually Kush is the upper Nubian, the name Habesh is not popular and although in modern Amharic dictionaries the word Habasha can still be found (Habashiyy), which is defined as a crude or abusive nickname.

The Christian doctrine spread south to the descendants of Solomon, Ethiopian kings between the sixth and 13th centuries ruled the region everywhere. During this period many kings were not from the Sulaiman line, and their group was called Zague, the teachers of Ethiopia ruled for about 330 years. Then came the king of Solomon's line named Yekueno Amlak (1270-1285) in Shoa. With the help of the great saint Takla Haymanot, he expelled Zague and became King of Ethiopia. In return for the help of the saint, he gave a third of his kingdom's income to the Church, which his successor continued to keep.
