While the entire world tries to cope with the nuclear tests and missiles tests by North Korea. We have a sutuation in South Korea whereby they have decided to deploy the THAAD missiles as a means of deterrent. Conventional military strategist would question on the effectiveness of such a missile defense for protecting any nuclear strike on South Korea. And based proximity of the border with North Korea this holds true.
On the otherhand we have People's Republic of China which has blantant expressed their anger for the decision to deploy the missile defense. Why the hysteria? Because in essence the defense system is to deter China and keep her in the reigns of the US. China has failed to persuade the North Korea to giving up the nuke program as they feel using North Korea to irritate the US would be the best option available to them and to test President Trumps foeign and military policies. North Korea can not act alone and will not jeopardize the regime unless they have been given security from China. Russia appears to have diminished its role in Asia over the decades, while China with the success in the economy is attempting to expand the role but has failed as she lacks to gain the trust.
I have drifted off, but fireworks seems like an option for North Korea tomorrow to celebrate. Will it be the bottle rockets needs to be seen. No one will know what will happen.
