불 피울 때 발생하는 까만 연기가 블랙 카본이라고 하네요.
지구상에서 40% 정도의 블랙카본은 산불 등 자연 상에서 일어난 화재때문이라는데, 도시지역에서 이 영향은 드물 것 같고, 그러면 역시 디젤 엔진의 배출물이겠네요.

전에 한국 갔을 때 벛꽃축제를 즐기는데 한번 씩 경유차가 지나가면 매캐한 냄새가 나더군요. 경유차 배기물도 결코 간과할 수 없을 것 같습니다.
