[Travel] 발리 안녕~~Hello Bali~~

Hi guys! This is my first post after signing up. Actually, Steemit has a lot of professional posts so I was really considering what subject and writing style I wanted before posting. But I decided I’ll talk about things happening in my daily life instead of serious topics and share information from my daily life without pretense.
Traveling is today’s topic in my daily life.

어떤 주제로, 어느방향으로 글을 써내려가야 할지 고민했지만,
그냥 자연스러운 나의일상과 또 그 일상으로 얻는 소소한 정보들을 꾸밈없이 공유하기로 마음먹고!
오늘은 여행에 대한 포스팅을 하려고 합니다.

I took a trip to Bali last month. Bali is one of the islands in Indonesia. In Southeast Asia, where travelers love to go, it is rainy season. The weather in Korea is very hot and humid in the rainy season. Although Bali is part of Southeast Asia, it is dry season there. Actually, Bali has two distinct seasons: a dry season (April to September) and rainy season (October to March). Usually, when you plan a summer vacation, you consider the weather. But you don’t have to worry about it if you pick Bali. There is a little gap between the night and day temperature, so it is necessary to bring along a thin long-sleeve shirt or jacket. There is a one-hour time difference between Seoul and Bali and it is a 7-hour flight.

여행지는 지난달에 다녀온 발리에요.
휴양지로 좋은 발리는 인도네시아의 섬중 하나입니다.
뜨거운 여름인 한국은 휴가철과 함께 장마철도 지나가고 있죠.
여행지로 많이 가는 동남아시아도 마찬가지로 지금은 우기가 많은것 같아요.
하지만 발리는 건기라서 (4~9월 건기, 10~3월우기)
여름휴가철엔 비의 대한 피해와 걱정은 안하셔도 되니, 여름 여행지로 딱인듯 해요!
발리는 현재 한국의 기온보다 약간 낮은정도이며 일교차가 있는편이니 얇은 긴팔옷이 필수 였어요.
시차는 1시간정도 느리고, 비행기로 대략 7시간정도 걸립니다!

In Bali, there are not enough traffic signs so you have to watch out. I was startled by the reckless driving of a motorcycle.

발리가서 요 오토바이 때문에 제일 많이 놀랬어요.
발리에는 신호등이 많지않았고, 대부분 오토바이를 이용하기 때문에 차가 지나가든 사람이 지나가든 슝슝 오토바이가 마구마구 다녀요.
깜짝깜짝 놀랄정도로 어디서 나올지모르니 조심!!
차선은 의미가 없더라구요. 그럼에도 사고가 안나는걸 보면 정말 신기해요.

In Bali, Strangely, the house compound is expanded by marriage. Lemme explain. When a son of the house compound marries, his wife moves into the compound which includes extended families. I was interested in the building culture that a small screen wall is built to prevent evil spirits from entering the compound and that small screen wall is usually built directly behind the opening, screening off the interior.

발리에서는 한가족의 집이 마치 작은 마을 처럼 건물을 따로 짓고 생활 한다고 해요. 특이하게도, 발리 집들은 아들이 결혼하고 며느리를 데려 오면서 건물을 늘려 집이 더 커진다고 해요. 또, 멀리서 보니 대문을 열면 담벼락같은 벽이 있는데 그 벽이 악마가 들어오는것을 막는다고도 하네요!

This is a Kamboja flower that only exists in Bali. This is the most beatiful flower than i've ever seen before. Actually, I wanted to bring back the Kamboja…even…just a few leaves, but I got impatient.

진짜 캄보자꽃은 정말 너무 예뻐요. 제가 본 꽃중에 실물 갑이에요!
마음 같아선 떨어진 꽃잎이라도
주섬주섬 캐리어에 담아오고 싶었지만! 참았어요. ㅎㅎ

I’m gonna tell you a secret story. When I tried to ride a banana boat, I saw a shark’s fin! When others saw it, they yelled, “Dolphin! Dolphin!”, but I already knew it was a shark. I know they were telling a white lie to make me feel relieved, but I was scared.

유명한 누사두아 해변에서 해양스포츠도 했어요.
바나나보트타는데 상어 지느러미를 본건 비밀이에요...!
현지인들이 돌핀돌핀! 했지만 저는 뻥이란걸 알아요.
분명히 상어였어요..!! 안심시키려고 돌핀이라고 한거 다 알아요.. 무서웠어요..ㅠㅠ
그치만 해변가에 파는 옥수수는 꿀맛이었어요! 마약옥수수 느낌! 냠냠

Bintang is a famous beer in Bali. Tastes really good. You gotta try this!

그리고 발리에는 빈땅맥주가 유명해요. 빈땅맥주 진짜 맛있습니다.
가시면 꼭 드셔보시길!!

The night air is a little bit cold to go into the water. I know that Indonesia is a dangerous area for the Zika Virus. But you can prevent getting bit by wearing a long sleeve shirt and using mosquitocide. There aren’t a lot of mosquitos in Bali so don’t worry!

밤에는 선선해서 물놀이는 조금 추웠어요.
그리고 밤이든 낮이든 모기는 많지 않아요!
있어도 잘 물지않아요. 발리에서는 한대도 안물리고 한국 오자마자 물렸네요.
인도네시아가 지카바이러스 위험국가 이긴하지만,
모기약이랑 긴팔옷 등 잘챙겨가시면 거의 물릴일은 없을 듯 합니다.

This is Batik. A famous Indonesian handcrafted art.
Batik is Indonesian traditional clothing like Korean hanbok. The patterns on the Batik are drawn with a pencil and then redrawn using hot wax. Actually, these patterns are variable according to the occasion such as marriage, funeral or special day. I bought a Batik and tried to wear it like…local people…but failed. :(

인도네시아 전통 의상이에요. 한국의 한복처럼!
밀랍으로 점과 선을 이용해 그림을 그리고, 직접 염색을 합니다.
바틱은 인도네시아인의 모든 생활에 스며들어있다고 합니다.
일상복으로도 입고 결혼식이나 특별한 기념일,
장례식이나 아기를 업을때도 바틱을 사용한다고해요.
네모난 천조각이지만 입고,매는 방법이 여러가지로
다양한 연출이 가능하다고 합니다.
기념품으로 사왔는데 현지인처럼 예쁘게 안되네요 ㅠ

Bali! Nice weather! Fresh air! It’s a really nice place to relax! You can make good memories in Bali! But I’m gonna recommend to avoid the rainy season.
