Merritt Moore has spent nearly 10 years studying quantum physics and is about to graduate from Oxford University with a PhD.
The 29-year-old is also a professional ballerina and has danced with English National Ballet, Boston Ballet and Zurich Ballet.
Merritt said she was constantly told she could not pursue her two passions simultaneously.

발레리나로 명성을 얻기도 어려운 일인데 프로 발레리나 이면서 영국 옥스퍼드 대학에서 "양자광학 물리학 박사" 학위 까지 받은 메리트 무어(Merrit Moore)라는 29세 여성이 BBC News를 통해 소개되며 화제가 되고 있습니다.

13세 부터 발레를 했는데 주변에선 한 가지에 집중 하라고 했지만 발레를 할 수록 공부가 더 잘됐다고 합니다.

대학시절 취리히 발레단에 입단해 미국 보스턴 발레단, 런던 페스티벌 발레단 등에서 활동한 프로 발레리나 라는군요
