Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow
Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow was a rock band formed by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore after leaving Deep Purple. The band was initially known simply as Rainbow and became famous for its blend of hard rock and neoclassical elements. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1975, featured the classic lineup including vocalist Ronnie James Dio.
Rainbow is known for hits like "Man on the Silver Mountain," "Since You Been Gone," and "Stargazer." The band had several lineup changes over the years but remained influential in the hard rock and heavy metal genres. Blackmore's distinctive guitar work and the powerful vocals of Dio (among others) defined the band's sound and legacy.
