Festive table for Christmas

in #krsuccess26 days ago

Christmas is the most magical and joyful holiday that unites families and gives everyone an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. One of the key traditions of this holiday is the preparation of a festive table, which must be full of delicious dishes and treats.

In our house, Christmas begins with the preparation for the feast. A few days before the holiday, the whole family gathers to make a menu and distribute responsibilities. Everyone knows what they are going to cook, and they are looking forward to the moment when the whole family will gather at the table.

There are traditionally 12 dishes on the Christmas table, symbolizing the 12 apostles. Among them is kutya, made from wheat or rice, with honey and nuts. This dish has become a symbol of unity and prosperity for us in the new year. Mushroom, vegetable and fish dishes should also be on the table, because traditionally meat cannot be eaten at Christmas.

One of our family's favorite Christmas treats is a freshly baked apple and cinnamon pie. Its fragrance fills the house, creating a festive atmosphere. And for dessert, we always prepare a lot of sweets: gingerbread, Christmas cookies and, of course, pudding.

Our table is not complete without hot dishes. We cook different types of fish baked with seasonings, as well as mashed potatoes and salads. Each family member tries to add something special to make our table even more diverse and colorful.

When Sunday morning comes, we gather around the table, creating an atmosphere of magic and joy. Candles are burning on the table, there is a lighted Christmas tree nearby, and the smell of cinnamon and fir needles is in the air. We exchange congratulations, share kind words and memories of the past year.

We always sing Christmas carols after dinner and remember the important moments that happened to us this year. These little traditions make our holiday unforgettable and allow you to feel a strong connection with your family and friends.

Thus, the festive table for Christmas is not only an abundance of delicious food, but also a symbol of unity, love and giving. It unites families and remains in memory as one of the most vivid and touching traditions of celebrating Christmas.
