Dreaming of a Kurdistan

A country where you have no fear of police, only respect.
A country where you speak at school the language you speak at home.
A country where you write, read, discuss and laugh in your mother tongue without any consideration for oppression or torture.
A country where a pig can grunt and oink near a mosque without getting killed.
A country where being a Kurd does not mean traitor, political prisoner, suspect, terrorist or nationalist.
A country where the separation of powers is strictly regulated and executed.
A country where political and corruption scandals are rare and legally punished.
A country where tribalism, clanism or group identity respect every individual for who and how they are.
A country where trees, rivers, birds, bees and all animals live happy, clean lives.
A country where homosexuals, transsexuals, asexuals, heterosexuals and others freely and openly live their sexuality together or next to each other.
A country where no woman suffers violence or suppression of any kind.
A country where the skin colour does not influence your status, income or everyday life.
A country where prejudice or preconceptions are phased out.
A country where books and newspapers are read and not burned, banned or censored.
A country where science creates new solutions and tools for the goodness of humanity.
A country of free lovers, artists, intellectuals, poets, scientists, wise politicians, happy children, equal women...
A country where everyone helps the other and shows great international solidarity with the poor, the sick, refugees and victims.
A Kurdistan that is open to all people of every race, creed, religion, class, culture or every other category.

That is the Kurdistan I dream of!
