**OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT** LADDER.NET Post Scheduler Improved and Timezone Support Released

in #ladder8 years ago (edited)

We are pleased to announce localized timezone support and an improved date time picker. You can now schedule posts without having to do awkward UTC offset math each time. The platform will default to whichever timezone you used last on a post so you don't have to worry about the hassle of setting it every time.

The new date time picker uses Bootstrap 3 with JQuery and should work much better than the previous HTML5 picker that was giving some people troubles.

If you haven't done so already, head on over to Ladder.net and sign up a free account to start scheduling your posts ahead of time.

Very clean and easy - I like it better than any of the other options out there. The Timezone dropdown is excellent. As a member of @Steemsports I learned very quickly that the rest of the world is not on my time. Now if I write a post that I think Austrlians will like - I can easily select prime time in their time zone without having to do the math. Nice midnight coding sessions @contentjunkey - I think this change makes the scheduler a lot more accessible. Maybe one day our little project will get a @ned or @dantheman nod and we can really speed things up. Thanks to everyone who has signed up - every new user that signs up validates our project - its something we have been closely watching!

This could really help me. I'm hosting a #chessmatch and I've given myself a one hour window each day within which to post the next move.
Its quite lucrative, but being at my PC every day at some point during that window is becoming something of a trial. Thanks :)

Looks great. Look forward to using this tool.
