In the fourth anniversary of the sustainable and renewable energy development authority (SREDA) in the Engineers Institution in the capital on Monday, he advised the officials of the organization to be present.

According to the surveyor website of Solar Park, plans to produce grid solar-based power in government-owned non-agricultural lands to reduce dependence on fossil fuel-based electricity. Electricity produced in solar park will be delivered directly to the grid on commercial basis.

It has been further said that two types of land were set for solar park. One of these is land which is government owned but is not used for agricultural production and the other is private land. Initially, eight areas are marked.

Energy Adviser Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury disagreed with the plan to build a solar park with big land.

He said, "Any kind of land is very valuable in a densely populated country like Bangladesh. So, the maximum use of land is to ensure the maximum use. Bangladesh does not have land for solar land with big land.

"Land of Bangladesh is very valuable. In future, the requirements of the land and the price will increase further. So how to use different infrastructure and infrastructure without using the land should be planned. "

In this case, the energy experts advised to utilize the roofs of homes and other facilities to get the benefits of solar power.

Before the statement of the energy adviser, Sadeer mentioned the work statistics of the past two years, Member Siddiqui Zubayer said.

He said that during this time, several policies including Energy Efficiency and Conservation Rule, Energy Audit Regulation, Net Metering Guidelines, have been formulated. In the use of homogeneous materials, seven companies have been given the non-payment of Tk 400 crore project. Half of these projects are now under implementation. BDS standard has been set up for the production and marketing of solar power products.

Sadeq Zubair also highlighted the future action plans of Sreeder. These include the coordination of Solar Irrigation Project with Grid, Green Building Rating System Formulation, Net Metering Project, Kaptai Lake Floating Solar Project etc.

Towfiq-e-Elahi also said that if the Sedarah plans and projects come in the way of far-flowing benefits, then the plan should be changed.

"Solar power planning is not good at the areas where the grid electricity can not go. Why grid electricity can not be in some areas? The government's goal is to provide electricity to all areas. Think of how solar power can be used as an option alongside grid electricity. "

Advising to increase the awareness of electricity consumption, the energy advisor said, "It is necessary to try to reduce the cost of one-watt power compared to one watts of electricity. Because the cost of production of electricity is increasing day by day. Never waste these expensive products out of necessity. Sreda can take special steps to make people aware about this. "

Sreda chairman said. Helal Uddin spoke. Sridhar member Salima Jahan talks about various programs of the organization.
