The Beauty of Bangui - Family fun packed on a road trip

I haven't traveled much nor gone abroad or outside the country. The only travels I had was when I started to have my own family. At first, it's a bit challenging especially that we were caught up with the daily routine with the kids and school, and work schedules. But we found a way and time to start our less expensive travel experiences. We started with road trips on weekends or holiday vacations to have some time off from the busy work days in the city., sometimes a weekend getaway just a few hours drive from home.

Since big trips are quite unattainable, we started off with beaches, parks and mountain adventures. And those road trips has been a part of our plan since then. Those family road trips allows us to travel more, though its not that far that take weeks to complete, but still it gives us the ability to travel more, less expensive and more quality time spent with each other.

Last December 2016, our whole family decided to go on a week road trip on Christmas week itself. We decided to go on a Baguio-Ilocos adventure.
Our first destination was the famous Bangui Windmills in Ilocos Norte. The almost 11 hour drive was all worth it the moment we first saw those gigantic windmills.

We were all in awe of its beauty.
Its so amazing that these giant turbines are not just a view but it also supplies electric power in Ilocos Norte.

The experience was worthwhile.
The gigantic turbines were perfectly built along the shores of Ilocos Norte.

Celebrating christmas on the road was definitely worth it. One of the best family trips.
