landscape photography contest: Chamonix, mer de glace
This picture was taken last September from Montenvers, Chamonix, France. No filters were added.
The photography shows the melting glacier Mer de glace, largest glacier on French territory. The level of the glacier is about a 100 meters lower than a 100 years ago and stairs are added each year to reach it.
*I used a smartphone to take this picture so I hope it proves that anyone can take nice pics.
