Google Dictionary by google, one of the best extensions I ever used!
This extension is definitely worth trying, so far I have used this extension every day because it's incredibly useful. One of the most powerful reasons is because only by clicking twice on any word; it will give you a thorough explanation of the word, and it is not only for English, I have used in other languages, and it works incredibly. Not to mention its ability to pronounce words. It's not available for all words, but it, nevertheless, gave the pronunciation for a lot of them.
