Spanish or English?

Human beings as social animals that we are, we have a natural need to relate to members of our same species. Although throughout history and evolution we have designed many methods to do so, from cave paintings to sign language.

However, we agree that the most effective way is oral and written language, but of course the different cultures that have existed created several languages, some of them already considered dead languages. Fortunately, at present this does not present a barrier to communication between people, anyone can learn another language with the help of a book, classes or even through the internet. However, there are still some problems ... Some languages can be quite complex for some people, in addition to having some terms that do not exist in that language.

My native language is Spanish, however my family has always thought that English is a useful language and can "open many doors in life". For this reason since childhood I was taught to speak English with private lessons, for my part I also learned to master it with video games, since many were not available in Spanish I was forced to understand them to know what the story was about.

When I was in school it was not very difficult for me to get good grades in English, in fact it seemed that they taught the same thing every year and my classmates broke their heads with the same subjects. Many times they said that it was not necessary to learn it, "Duh, you can translate it in Google", but sometimes you will not have this tool at your disposal and you will have to deal with them alone although I admit that sometimes I use it because of laziness or because I do not understand some words , I'm still learning.

But one of the things I can say is that Spanish is a very difficult language to learn, some people attribute it to the fact that it is a very recent language that has not had enough time to perfect, unlike English for example.

For a native person it may seem so easy because he has spent his whole life talking about it and the human brain during the first months learns very fast, but for a non-native person it can become a real headache, especially for the different conjugations that has every verb, we do not just talk about regular and irregular.

Another confusion is regarding male and female objects, that is something that does not exist in English except for some words like "son" and "daughter". I sincerely admire those who dare to learn Spanish.

With all this I want to give another perspective to people about their native language to appreciate it and still be motivated to learn someone else, preferably one that is quite widespread like the ones I mentioned or Chinese. Still, if you would like to learn a not so popular one, do it (I like dead languages, for example).
