Starting by wishing good health to all Steemit friends. Let's participate in another engagement challenge for the third time. The theme of this week's engagement challenge is SLC22-W3 / Human Rights (HR). Human rights is to respect and ensure the rights of all people equally. Anyway, I will share my experience with you today. I'll start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

Part I:

Based on what was explained in class, say in your own words and with explanations whether you believe human rights are being respected or violated in your country.

I am a citizen of Bangladesh and I live here. Human rights are being respected and violated in Bangladesh. There are many human rights institutions in our country which are working with equal rights of people of religion and caste and equal rights to individual freedom. These human rights institutions help the oppressed people who do not get their human rights back.

But today there are many places where religious caste people and women are oppressed. For example, as discrimination is created in employment, women are currently not getting back their due rights in their families or in different places.

Please state, according to your country's law, whether human rights have equal value in your country's constitution, whether they are sub-constitutional, or whether the constitution takes precedence over international treaties on human rights.

According to the laws of Bangladesh, human rights laws have equal value to the constitution. The highest law in the constitution of Bangladesh enshrines the right to freedom of individual liberty and equal treatment of people of color, creed, and religion. Human rights organizations work in compliance with international human rights law agreements.

If in any case, the activities of the human rights organizations are not in accordance with the international agreements, then in that case they are executed according to the constitutional law. Because above all the laws there is the constitutional law which is respected by all of us.

Part II:

I have referred you to an organization in your region that has jurisdiction over human rights. In your opinion, how useful it has been and how its activities have affected respect for human rights in your country.

We have the Bangladesh National Human Rights Commission Act 2009. It ensures the protection and development of the human rights of the citizens of our country and region. Monitors and reviews the overall human rights situation in the country and gives the necessary recommendations to the state. Rights of the oppressed people from various influential people in the region are returned through this human rights law.

  • Have you or someone close to you been a victim of human rights violations? If so, what were the circumstances and were you able to assert your rights?

Human rights are being violated in different parts of our country. A girl was subjected to religious discrimination in our region. A Hindu girl is married to a Muslim boy. Later due to family troubles he did not get the justice he deserved because he was a Hindu and for various powerful people of the region.

Later he got the justice he deserved according to Islamic human rights law because Islamic human rights laws work to ensure the protection of all people irrespective of caste and religion.

Part III

Case Study 1.

A woman loses her son when he dies at the hands of assailants who kill her to steal her car. The attackers were later arrested and tried for murder. He is serving the sentence provided by law. However, the woman believed that her right to life had been violated and decided to file a complaint with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.

Here the human rights of the woman and her son were violated. Because by killing her son, the son's right to life was taken away and the mother's right to peaceful life was also taken away. These rights are generally included in human rights. Later, those who were deprived of their rights are punished.

But he still decided to file a complaint with the Inter-American Commissioner for Human Rights. In that case he can review her complaint but if there is negligence in prosecution under state law then American commissioner is prosecuted under law but if there is no negligence then he cannot take any possible action under law.

Case study 2.

One arrested amid anti-government protests. He was beaten up by police officers, resulting in his death. The prosecutor assigned to the case began an investigation without being able to pinpoint the perpetrators of the murder. Several years pass and the victim's relatives return to the prosecutor's office for answers and are told that the case is closed because several years have passed without identifying those who caused the death. Please state whether you believe the human rights of both the victim and his/her family are being violated. Please explain your answer.

Yes I believe that the human rights of both Victing and her family are being violated. Because the victim lost his right to life due to anti-government agitation and police beating. Here, of course, the negligence of the police in the state has been revealed. Because according to the human rights law, the punishments are filed by analyzing the trials of sleeping or murder. In this case it has been neglected.

A few months ago we also had an anti-discrimination student movement in Bangladesh and many students were injured and killed. whose trial has not yet been confirmed. Human rights law always works for the justice of all people. Therefore, the victim and the victim's family have the possibility to get justice according to the international human rights law. Because the international human rights law reviews the human rights organizations and executes the judicial work according to the constitutional law.

¡Saludos amiga!🤗

Yes, basic human rights are not being regained by the people in all parts of the present society. Thank you so much for your meaningful comments on my post. ❤️
