Learning Nug: make a public trust account, tell your friends
Thank you for reading this. I really appreciate your time.
setup some trustless trust on www.keybase.io and onename.com
i find it interesting how close people are to knowing they're already using encryption, but it's not hard to see why pgp signing never went mainstream. anyone using secret chat in fb messenger? signal? telegram secret chat? next time poke around and see if you can find your public key :D
let's hope enough other crypto-builders also want to become the next paypal instead of the next pgp. it's interesting to know why you can trust cryptography more than corporations, but people still don't trip all over themselves trying to figure out the basis of their trust relationships so a good user experience is still the way to more adoption.
check out keybase if you're interested in a fairly intuitive way to start trusting people online again. it's an interesting world out there when people don't realize the trust they're giving out to centralized systems. if you know who you're trusting, might as well know why, too. :)
