The black hole legend

Cazadero, is a small village located between the mountains of the Lobatera municipality, in the central-western region of the Tàchira State.

In this small village there is a well that lives up to its name, "black well", it is a dark well, which causes fear just to step on its surroundings. But even so, visitors come from different areas close to the village, where its purpose is to be able to bathe in it.

This well has never been found bottom and has a stone in the form of waterfall about 5 meters high, from where visitors are released. And its surroundings are adorned with small chapels of people who have died mysteriously there. This well has claimed the lives of innumerable people and even animals that perished in very strange ways, some villagers say that this well is cursed, that down there in the bottom, lives an evil being that occasionally goes out to sunbathe and that takes people who are alone to the deepest of their bowels. Others say that this well is charming and during times of Lent comes a giant serpent, golden as the sun, in search of a victim.

It is not known which of the many stories heard about this dark well will be real, however, there among mountains and far from civilization, the cesspool continues to attract visitors and claim lives.
