CIS people at it again.
Why do Cis people think its better to use "he/she" or "him/her" instead of the gender neutral pronoun "they". It's shorter, easier to write because it doesn't have that "/" in the middle, and everyone already knows what it means. Is exclusion really so ingrained in their culture that they naturally go out of their way to push it in every aspect of their language?
I went to the top post on trending on this platform, and checked the comments. Just another thing wrong with this community.

Oj me Flyin’ Dutchman, the usage of “his/her” is still kicking? Welp, the Subjects of Cis people using “his/her” fundamentally comes down to two camps: the first chunk being those ignorant of the inclusion “they” brings along, and the latter, probably bigger, chunk being full of lingual idealists fearing somehow “the Woman”* would be erased by saying “they” instead of “his/her” (because, well this just doesn’t make any sense).
*”the Woman” is usually used here by Cis males to mark the fantasy object, in this case only unto both Cis and trans females, of their desire/lack.
I would like to have a similar gender neutral pronoun in Spanish.
yeah, but there is always the opportunity to create one.
