RE: Child Labor; to the Extremes

I am glad you are interested. :)

First of all, I have to mention that I do not speak on behalf of every author of @laissez-faire.

I have listened to many discussions about polycentric (/decentralized) "legal" systems and I know a lot of anarcho-capitalists. I can only agree with what they say, however this topic is so extremely wide and my time is limited. I devoted just a few hours on the topic of decentralized "law enforcement" and I would simply need more time to study further. That is why I do not call myself anarchist (for now... I understand only the moral page of being anarchist). So my libertarianism can be named as classical liberalism, at least for now. But of course, many authors on @laissez-faire are anarchists, some are not.

So that is why I do not have a clear flavor of libertarianism, but still... Anarcho-capitalists and I have a similar path to liberty (mine is a little bit shorter). But honestly, I do not believe that we will experience even classical liberalism in our lives, I am quite pessimistic. Libertarians are just a minority. There are masses and masses of those who believe in socialism (not necessarily in the purest form). In our country, the state takes care of so many things, we pay 62.45% in taxes and many people still want the state to give away more money (well, it sounds horrible how I described it... but many European countries are not better in this regard). The current path of modern democracies is certainly not the "liberty path".

My way of mitigating mafiosos would be legalizing drugs and making the state much smaller. This way we would get rid out of most mafians. As I said, I have not much studied the decentralized legal system, so I have not come up with a better solution how to deal with other mafias (mafias that primarily violates NAP of others) than what we have today.

I do not have an ideal historical era (partly because I do not know what I want now, as I have only partly studied anarchism), but I really like the Wild West (before the European states ruined it). Or actually The Not So Wild, Wild West. :)´

Thank you for your questions.
