I LOVE NYT
First The New York Times article blames Gary Johnson for not knowing what Aleppo is and implies that it disqualifies him from the race.
Then, at the end of the article:
Correction: September 8, 2016
An earlier version of this article misidentified the de facto capital of the Islamic State. It is Raqqa, in northern Syria, not Aleppo.
Correction: September 8, 2016
Because of an editing error, an earlier version of the above correction misidentified the Syrian capital as Aleppo. It is Damascus
Sorry, guys, but it's incredibly funny. That's literally a double facepalm. Doesn't it disqualify you from posing as a major media outlet?
BTW Johnson said "“I’m incredibly frustrated with myself". The NYT journalist didn't. I believe the ability to publicly accept your own mistakes and learn from them is what makes you good President or good journalist - and not immediately knowing what Aleppo is.
If you wish to read the entire article (with the corrections), it is here.
Cool! I follow you.
