Libra is being investigated by the European Union for alleged monopoly
Libra whose serious departure by 2020 is now facing an investigation in the European Union, has been secured by Bloomberg after accessing documents related to the current procedure.
Because of this, the European Commission is investigating the current potentially anti-competitive behavior related to Libra.

EU officials are concerned as Libra may generate possible restrictions on competition in relation to the information that would be exchanged in the payment processes.
In addition to this, the research expands to the effect of the possible integration of apps supported by Libra such as Messenger and WhastApp.
It should be noted that it is not the first time that Libra faces problems, and last month in the United States they pointed out that Facebook has not shown that they could be trusted as a company to safeguard neither consumer data nor the global financial system.
