Is there anything wrong? Who cares - right??

in #life6 years ago

Can a human be right in a world of wrong? What difference does it make if I care about truth and lies, the good future or a doom? Am I concerned about anything but myself and money??

Answers to this question, and to many more, lay within your feelings, not in your brain of artificial and biased constructs.

Some photos of my original creation at the end of the post - enjoy.

1. Truth or lie?

Most important thing in our lives is to know the difference between truth and lie, and we are unfortunately incapable of definitely saying that something is a true or a lie. The settings in this, what we call reality, allows countless explanations and our brains do so many mistakes, that everything might be wrong (please type "List of cognitive biases" in search and go to Wikipedia to see yourself).

2. Cause - effect?

Is there a force of destiny which will create a final output to my life, to the world, regardless of my actions, regardless to actions of others, or we can create our future going right or left? Do I have a choice of doing or not doing, freely choosing the right thing, and am I even sure what is right and what is not so right at all?
Is there a cause at the basis of any effect, or is it just an illusion?

3. Is the past important?

It might be important for those with modesty, not for those with pride, for those who exercise actions of love, not those of actions created from fear.
Past gives us experience. Our own experience appears to be more truthful than experiences of others, that is why children don't want to take advise from their parents or grandparents - the mistakes they made are not so relevant if these are being just told. We don't need to experience by ourselves, or do we?
Can history (if truthful) teach us anything? Can I get a good, relevant advice from someone who already experienced something similar to what I want to experience and what was the output?

4. What about present?

Ow yeah - I want one - Santa ;)
The present tense - the moment I am now in. It is important as I can formulate thoughts on past and future and I can choose to exercise thoughts, words and actions of love or actions of fear.

5. Is there a future?

There might be a future, but it is not a definitive one. Our brains are of too small calculation power to foresee all possible outputs and all possible ways, that the future (even the closest one) might go.
Is than a sense of thinking about future at all? I think - yes! Thinking about something, asking in-depth questions, formulating ideas, saying something or writing thoughts and plans down and doing what we want, increases probability of occurrence of an effect we desire and it is more probable to the accident, if we wouldn't do all of it.

6. Is there a good prediction of the future?

You cant train your brain and your hearth to be more efficient in foreseeing the future. The most important thing in the process is an ability of eliminating lies from everything what surrounds us (and this is the most difficult thing to do).
In the world of information noise so big, that you even can't hear your own thoughts and emotions it is next to impossible to become aware of truth. Thinking is painful, takes time and energy and is not fun in many occasions, but once improved, it becomes easier.

Good showcase of the present times and good predictions of the future are visible in a movie "The age of stupid" - try YT - (documentary about possible future of the world and humans).

7. I try to be more humble and less proud.

I have some IQ, some knowledge, some good feelings, but am I right in all, do I know all?
The answer of a humble person is always as a Socrates': "I know, that I know nothing".
Pride is one of the outputs of fear (I fear that someone sees me as a less knowledgeable or less capable than him/her, that someone will laugh at me, despise me).

8. What is wrong?

Do you know some of the conspiracy theories around? Are they truth or lie, did you study them enough not to be feared of possible consequences of confirming some of them or discarding some other?
Am I happy, am I right, are they happy, are they right, will we all be happy and right one day, or will we never be?

9. Search engine algorithms are guilty!

Where money rule, there can be no truth. The popularity of information is established on its monetization. Go to YT, DTube, see what video subjects are most popular. Watch few and see what do they give you. Ask yourself if you need what they give you, and what for.
The worst part is that our brains have search engine algorithms too, and they are heavily biased.

10. Do we need transparency?

Who was it saying: "It doesn't matter how people vote, it is important who counts the votes" - was it Lenin or Stalin? Ancient Greece had this system of putting white and black marbles to one of two vases, everyone could see where anyone else have put their stone. I think transparency and openness helps, as oppose to secrecy which conceals and allows lies.

11. Golden thought.

As Wendell Berry said: "There are no passengers on spaceship Earth, we are all crew."
Am I a responsible crew member, or I don't care and just enjoy the cruise?
I think the future of "the ship" an others on it depends on me.

Do you have the same thought?

12. Unrelevant photos of my making

I made it few weeks back using Nikon Coolpix - enjoy :)

Right click on a photo, open it in new tab, apply magnifying glass, enjoy enlarged.
