Natural remedies fascinate me. It's so amazing that God provided the supplements, nutrients, and natural medicines we need in the world around us. Now, modern medicine certainly has its place and does wonders, but why should we have to go out and buy expensive painkillers and cold medicines when we have what we need in more natural forms, without the side effects, sometimes even in our own backyard?
Ginger is a personal favorite of mine. My stomach gets upset pretty easily sometimes, but ginger tablets sooth my stomach like no one's business.

Did you know pine needles make a great cold remedy when used to make tea? And it tastes really good, too.

Plantain plants, often seen as weeds, help sooth cuts, rashes, and bug bites!

Another great one is turmeric! Turmeric helps with headaches, and is a natural pain killer. It can be taken in place of Ibuprofen and Advil.

These all look pretty familiar.

I sort of feel jipped on the turmeric. Why didn't I get a picture of turmeric?

Oh I see it now. 😁

@goatgarden There's a store in Branson Landing you would like. The Spice and Tea Exchange has a lot of great teas, spices, herbs and blends that you would love. Not to mention, some beautiful mortar and pestle sets.

This post is excellent, tumeric has helped a lot of people in the past with sicknesses pertaining to the brain , according to research it helps control hyper nerves and soothes the central nervous system.

Thanks! Turmeric supposedly prevents cancer, too. Or fights it, at least. It has quite a few amazing health benefits.
