Good friends Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift during the filming of 'A Place in the Sun' in 1950. The film went on to win six Academy Awards, including Best Director and Best Screenplay, and is now hailed as a classic. Montgomery Clift was born 97 years ago on this day, October 17, 1920 in Omaha, Nebraska.
