The Daily Philosopher.
Welcome to the daily Philosopher.
Here to enhance your day with wise words of the great philosophers and thinkers of past and present.
Malala Yousafzai born 12 July 1997 is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate.
Malala's story is one of true heroism, she is a shining example of what the world could be like if we all stood up together for what we believe to be right. Yes, we all have differing views of what is right and wrong, but they are taught to us by our circumstances, and the people we associate with.
What we need is what Malala was fighting for education, but an education without discrimination and without the teaching of religious beliefs.
If you choose to be a part of a religion that choice should be made after you have had an education in a free and open society.
The sign of an exceptional teacher.
Ziauddin Yousufzai TED Talk, This is a TED talk by Malalal's Father, a very inspirational talk that is well worth watching.
