Decision - Good Enough Or Great?

in #life4 years ago

Most of us never question our decision - good enough or GREAT? We think we did the best we could. But if we had to choose again, would we do anything differently? Of course we would. Why do we feel that way, though? We've been brainwashed into thinking that "good enough" is the answer. It's the feeling that tells us our decision is good enough. There's a reason for this feeling.

Your decision is good enough only because you tell yourself it is. How do you do that? By taking control of the "me" part of your decision. When you learn to do that, you will discover that you can be more flexible in your decision-making process.

You are the one who decides when to make a change. In many situations, your decision is to stick with a bad situation. You may think that it is a temporary solution, but it's actually a temporary solution that sets you up for failure.
You will only be able to change if you allow it to be changed. You don't have to like the new way of doing things. You have to find out what is working and what isn't. When you find the solution, then you are in charge of the outcome.
You are the one who makes a successful decision if you recognize that your success comes from you. What is your vision? You have to decide on your decision.

You see it's not a "great way" to accomplish a certain goal. When you use the word "great", you are implying that there is no other choice, no choice at all. In reality, there are many choices, and some of them may be better than others.

There is no "good enough" decision - it doesn't exist. You make your decisions based on how you feel about them. When you feel good about them, you will be successful. When you feel bad about them, you won't be.
