I definitely cannot get rid of plastic food containers, especially ones with tight snap-on lids. They are great for storing leftovers from dinner and for holding (as you mentioned) screws, nails, miscellaneous parts for this and that.

True!
:)))

It's great to see an interest in re-purposing and recycling emerging once again. To me, the amount of 'waste' we are pouring into the Earth is criminal when it can be transformed into something that will live to serve another purpose.

My Ancestors Saved
Everything Or So It Seems,
We Use Top Drink Ice Tea
Out Of Jelly Jars,
Old Bowls Were For Pet Food, Etc..

As the weather seems to be getting hotter and drier, I'm saving plastic bottles as they can be dug into the ground and used as reservoirs for the slow release of water for vegies and other plants. So much we could be saving and re-purposing.

That Is An Awesome Idea.
Steem On!
